A Registered Tangible Cultural Property since 2001, this distinctive restaurant was originally the residence of a silkworm farmer.

Udon and Soba restaurant Nagomi no mori (Mori no Yu area guests only)

Take a break spacious tatami mat floor after taking Mori-no-yu bath.

Oyasumi-dokoro (Mori no Yu area guests only)

Lie down and take a rest, or even sleep, in a quiet space with healing background music.

Reserved private rooms (Yunessun area guests only): Take breaks whenever you like while wearing your bathing suit in a private room with table, TV and air conditioner.

Akatsuki room/Yoi room (Mori no Yu area guests only): Leisure away some time in this 11m² private room for ¥5,000/day per room (in addition to Mori no Yu area admission fee). It’s open from 11am to 8pm.

Oriental massage salon Herb (Mori no Yu area guests only)

Hakone Kowakien Hotel

The Hakone Kowakien Hotel was first opened in 1959, and was reopened in July of 2023 following its rebuilding.
Carrying on the proud name of the Hakone Kowakien Hotel, the hotel can be enjoyed together with Yunessun, which has also been renovated to provide guests with an even more satisfying stay.

Hakone Kowakien Miyama Furin

Relax and unwind in one of 13 comfortable Japanese rooms and enjoy the public bath or free-flowing open-air hot springs. No restaurant is provided, but the hotel serves a complimentary breakfast with coffee and bread. You can walk to the hotel from Yunessun in 10 minutes.

Hakone Kowakien Ten-yu

All 150 rooms in this large ryokan include a luxurious free-flowing open-air bath. Fine Japanese restaurants serving teppan-yaki, shabu-shabu and other traditional dishes heighten the pleasure of your stay. The ryokan is 5 minutes on foot from Yunessun. A shuttle bus is also available.
There is a connecting passage between Ten-yu and Yunessun.

Mikawaya-Ryokan

Mikawaya-Ryokan established 138 years ago reopen in 2020. Relax and enjoy Japanese nostalgic staying, natural hot spring and traditional style dishes.The ryokan is 10 minutes on foot from Yunessun. A shuttle bus is also available.
